AN ASSESSMENT OF THE IMPACT OF TRAINING AND MANPOWER DEVELOPMENT,NTA,ZARIA

In the broadcasting industry such as Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) training and manpower development cannot be over-emphasized. According to Iheachu and Uche(2012) the kind of the type of revolution that the Nigerian Broadcasting industry is experiencing and the current challenge of o digitization for matching manpower to the complex and fragile equipment's that are coming in. Every aspect of Broadcasting requires some special skill to handle. Reporting, editing, programming, camera handling and script writing requires skill to handle. Also new equipment's are replacing the old and obsolete ones; staff must be trained to handle them to make the station viable and achieve its goal.
