Teaching Philosophy. I will adopt experiential learning strategy. Experiential learningis based on the humanistic psychology, stressing that knowledge and feelings areinevitable in the learning process, learner-centred lesson, lessons and activities shouldfocus on all the students and their intellect, need and feelings, learning takes placethrough engaging, interactive and memorable activities, experience plays a key role inlearning and learning takes places when learner able to create knowledge throughexperience, and therefore lesson activities should be student-centred. I will guidelearners to acquire knowledge, skill and value through their individual and general experience, thereby enabling them to construct and reconstruct knowledge. Basedonthis philosophy, I will perform the roles of a facilitator, motivator, collaborator, evaluator, guidance and sustainer of learning while considering learners the activemembers in the teaching-learning activity. Also, this philosophy requires the use of teaching approach, method, technique and resource that are learner- and learning- centered. Making them active (re-)constructors of and contributor to learning will therefore enable them to share experience, and thus knowledge, skill and value, andtofeel free to interact with me and raise issues for clarification.
