IOT Based Health Care Monitoring System Using Raspberry PI3

Abstract

Internet of things which is abbreviated as IOT is referred to the interconnected devices under a network. Using IOT,various applications such as health monitoring and medical device integration can be achieved. In this paper, we will be using the concept of IOT along with a series of single board computers known as Raspberry Pi to monitor the temperature and heartbeat of the patient. In case of critical conditions, the doctor will be intimated by receiving an alert message. The doctor may later alert the caretaker or nurse who are nearby the critical patient. With the use of this IOT application ,the quality and efficiency of the treatments are increased along with increase in the condition of the patient. Hence parameters regarding patients health are monitored thoroughly by the doctors and necessary care is provided accordingly.
