Print media is one of the medium through which information is disseminated to audiences. The study looked at Daily Graphic and Ghanaian Times reportange of the Alavanyo-Nkonya conflict. Sixty editions of the two selected newspapers;Daily Graphic and Ghanaian Times Newspapers were used within a period of four years. The study employed content analysis within the quantitative approach. Content analysis was used to analyze stories contained in the sample newspapers. In applying content analysis, the study looked at the style of the writer, the choice of words, the framing mechanism used, and pictures of incidents contained in the newspapers. It was to examine the biases and misrepresentations that might have occurred. The study found that, out of the sixty editions of stories used from the two selected newspapers, majority of the stories were not accompanied by any form of image hence, not attaching prominice to the conflict as needed. Photos have been identified as an important reference by which readers judge a news story. Newspaper stories are often boosted with images to show their importance. The tone of the story was neutral while the frame was more geared towards peace. The research discovered that newspapers give more prominence to other stories than conflict stories. It is recommended that the newspapers should give equal attention to conflict stories for the public to be informed.
