ABSTRACT

moti,ation and academic performance or pupils in primary schools in Kinyoro zone,
S,1boti Dhision. ·1 rans-Nzoia County. Kenya and suggest possible solutions to curb the
problem. The stud, used both quantitati,c and qualitative data collection methods. in
\hich questionnaire·, and inten ie\ guide \ere used to collect data from the respondents.
One elf the main findings of this stud, \as the confirmation that teachers· motivation had
an impact on pupils· academic performance·. Another l!J1ding or the study is that there

It was recommended in the study that for the country to achieve the desired economic
grow th and social ckvclopmcnt clue altention needs to be placed on the de,elopment of
