prevalence rate ofHIV/AIDS among pregnant mothers ofNaguru Health center is generally high

(overall mean=2.89 with a standard deviation of0.459) The findings also indicated a positive

significant relationship between prevention of mother to child transmission and prevalence of

HIY/AIDS (r=.685, sig. =0.000). From the findings and the conclusions of the study, the

researcher recommends:-There is a need to encourage pregnant mothers to pills as prescribed by

doctors, ii) Pregnant mothers are required to start antenatal as early as possible, iii) There is need
