ABSTRACT

The process of examination pre-registration is aimed to obtain accurate information on the intended candidates individually and collectively. These information are used to make a multitude of decisions such as the nature and structure of examination questions, categories and number of expected candidates, and other information which might be personal such as bio information. Unless a sufficiently accurate and efficient methods are used for  the data collection,  the data retrieved are bound to be cumbersome and unorganized. In itself, the processing of these raw data acquired from examination candidates can be rather tedious to sort and organize, especially when carried out manually, and when the number of expected candidates are larege, taking the case study of entrance examination which will in most cases will be expecting large crowd of candidates. It is time-consuming and error prone. The process, however, becomes a lot easier and much more accurate when carried out with a computer running a suitable software application. To find  a  sufficiently  fast  and accurate method  of  carrying out this

processing  is  a problem  that  is both  challenging and  interesting. In this work, a study of online examination registration system is carried out, deriving its advantages, challenges, methods of application and data collection and other factors attached to online examination registration system.
