AN ENHANCED RESEARCH PROPOSAL ON THE APPLICATION OF PARTNERING FOR EFFECTIVE STAKEHOLDER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT

The construction sector in India is large and diverse, with many distinct sorts of stakeholders and personnel. Due to a lack of management or oversight on the part of the project manager, construction projects in India frequently end in failure. When there is improper team coordination, a lack of project objective knowledge, a lack of trust, etc., there is a lack of management. The construction management sector needs carefully thought-out stakeholder relationship management in order to have organised work. Relationship management is crucial to the building industry since it reduces costs and speeds up project completion.

Compared to other management sectors, the construction industry places less emphasis on relationship management. People demand cooperation and teamwork to effectively accomplish a project, but often don't use the right implementation techniques. Relationship management is only effective when there is mutual respect, trust, understanding, good communication, and creative problem-solving techniques. to put into practise effective partnership-based relationship management. Partnering strategy aids in maintaining healthy stakeholder relationships free of conflict. It is beneficial to have effective teamwork, communication, and risk assessment before the project is launched. Construction partnering are common in nations like Australia, the USA, and others; yet, while having access to resources, India lacks management techniques Public-private partnerships are used by the Indian government the most frequently. The public and private sectors in India might take into account other sorts of cooperation that aid in effective relationship management.

Stakeholder relationships can be built over the long term with the use of partnering. They can support the completion of successful projects and be appropriate for large-scale initiatives in the public sector.

The enhanced research proposal explains the use and implementation of partnering method for effective relationship management and discusses the benefits and failure factors of relationship management. The research proposes to use triangulation research methodology for implementing the project objective.
