DESIGN OF A COMPUTERIZED SYSTEM FOR DEPARTMENTAL STUDENT RESULT PROCESSING (A CASE STUDY OF DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER SCIENCE IMT ENUGU)

ABSTRACT
This work computerized students departmental result processing system provides certain information like how to process students scores and grade point average, courses and their credit loads and theoretical and practically information in computer science department of I.M.T for students and lecturers.
This work acquaints students and lecturers in the department on how easy and fast an automated system in result processing can be in accessing students records and computing student grades and scores.
The work assumed students and lecturers have learnt how to compute grades, GPA and CGPA though it treats these but not concisely the result processing unit staff won’t find it difficult in manipulating the package if they have learnt the basic operations of computer and windows packages.
It aims at reducing the stress in student result processing using the manual system and saves the student problems like missing scores or incorrect scores and grades or incorrect grades point averages which are detriment to student’s success in the institution.
