In the sphere of technicalities in academic writing, syntax plays a huge crucial role in accomplishing technical documents. Syntax is concerned with the goal of producing a consistent, meaningful grammatical structure for the sentence.
The participants in this study are the third - year Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English students from Gensantos Foundation College, Inc. enrolled in the first semester for the academic year 2023 – 2024. The method used in this study is facilitating the administration of practical in-depth interview questions is the goal of this collaborative research project.
The objective of this study is to explore the influence of syntax on student’s comprehension in technical writing. In order to enhance learner's understanding of syntax, the study found out that understanding syntax assumes an inclusive definition of English, taking dialect variation and structures common amongst millions of English Technical Writers to be a fact of natural. In order to provide empirical support, the researcher engaged in careful evaluation of qualitative research. The interview aims to inquire about the influence of syntax review on the selected students' comprehension in technical writing.
