ABSTRACT
The researcher finds that the learners who are affected by HIV/ AIDS have had their education performance negatively due to poverty, ignorance and careless behaviour. Majority of them finally drops out of school. Hr: used qualitative approach where he did survey. The researcher made use of questionnaire
of which the targeted population included head teachers, teachers, parents and pupils from four schools. Tulwamoi, Equator, Soymining and Mumberes primary Analysis data collected shows that HIV/ AIDS has really been felt in the zone and its effects
are seen. The study reveal that the effects include declining of education standard early marriage, poverty and drop o.utjust to name a few.
