ABSTRACT The research investigated the impact of depression, anxiety and spirituality on the quality of life of prostate cancer patients in Ghana. The Survey research design was employed and the simple random sampling technique was used in selecting twenty-nine (29) prostate cancer patients as participants. Four hypotheses were tested using the One-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation Coefficient and Multiple Regression Analysis. The research outcome indicated that, there was no significant difference in quality of life among prostate cancer patients with respect to their income levels. Also, it was found that there existed a negative correlation between anxiety and quality of life, depression and quality of life. However, there existed a positive correlation between spirituality and quality of life of prostate cancer patients. It was recommended that prostate cancer patients receive, as part of their medical treatment, psychological assessment and treatment to help improve their quality of life. It was also recommended that, life insurance policies as well as Ghana’s health insurance scheme help augment the cost of treatment which is relevant in ensuring quality of life of prostate cancer patients.
