IMPLEMENTATION OF HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM BASED ON CLOUD COMPUTING PRINCIPLES

ABSTRACT

In other for a business/firm to get the best out of its employees and a high return on its investment in people, the human resources must be well managed. A good human resource management system brings consistency in human resource management practices and improves human relations in the company thereby enhancing individual/organizational effectiveness. With larger firms/organizations, it becomes increasingly difficult to manage a large number of human resources. Therefore, human resource management faces the critical challenges of promoting efficiency, costs saving, and quick response.  But with the emergence of cloud computing, it has become easy to store large volumes of data in the cloud to enhance Human Resource Management (HRM), based on the elasticity and scalability that cloud computing offers. To tackle the above-stated challenges, this paper proposes a security model of implementation for Human Resource Management System (HRMS) deployed on a cloud platform. This framework is a comprehensive and integrated model that is expected to allow for better correlation of the various components of a HRM organization with adequate consideration for security. It will also consider the pros and cons of this system of HRMS.
