Smaller structures with sizes ranging from 0.1 to 100 nm are studied in nanotechnology. The pharmaceutical industry is about to undergo a great change as a result of this specialty. It covers various fields such as biophysics, molecular biology, biotechnology, as well as subfields of medicine such as cardiology, ophthalmology, endocrinology, oncology, and immunology. New drug delivery systems are being developed by pharmacies to overcome the shortcomings of conventional methods. This Seminar work covers recent advancements in nanotechnologies. Especially its application in drug delivery, health and medicines, energy storage, transportation and telecommunications. It was discovered that nanotechnology has made a lot of breakthroughs in cancer treatment, treatment of neurological diseases and central nervous system treatment. Further studies need to be carried out to explore more and unfold more great things that can be derived from nanotechnology especially in pharmaceutical and energy nanotechnology.
