Computerized Accounting Systems And Financial Performance Of Commercial Banks In Uganda; A Case Study Of Centenary Bank -entebbe Road Branch

The study was conducted in order to assess effects of computerized accounting systems and financial perfo1mance of commercial banks in Uganda. The study objectively sought to examine the application of computerized accounting systems on the perfom1ance in commercial banks in Uganda, to establish the performance of commercial banks in Uganda and to dete1mine the relationship between computerized accounting systems and pe1formance in commercial banks in Uganda. The literature review was conducted with the aim of establishing and shading more light the relationship between computerized accounting systems and financial performance of commercial banks in Uganda. The researcher collected the necessary using questionnaire and interview methods of data collection. The data was tabulated and then analyzed in order to draw inference from the data collected. The information collected from the respondents through questionnaires and interview guide questions were used in order to answer the objectives of the study.
