Employees are more than just resources, instead HRMs should adopt a ‘people first’ approach. In Business Environments, we are going to consider those variables and circumstances constituting the tangible & intangible conditions under which commercial organization operates.The environment forming the business can be divided into two broad categories namely; the internal business environment and external business environment.

According to Ulrich, (1998) suggests that environment and contextual changes present a number of competitive challenges to the organizations, which mean HR has to be involved in helping to build new capabilities.
