THE IMPORTANCE OF CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETIES IN RURAL DEVELOPMENT (A CASE STUDY OF ENUGU STATE)

ABSTRACT 

Economic and social development in Enugu State, required the expansion and relationship of production and the alternation of their structures, mainly in agriculture trade and commerce.
Employment in rural areas of Enugu state must be increased to raise individual income. 
Capital investment are as well necessary but would only be productive if the corresponding quality to human resources are present.  
During this research study, therefore  we are going to review a critical analysis of prospects and operatives of how co-operative societies could generate development in their various socio-economic endeavours.
