The Preparation Of Magensium Glucourantes From Acacia Seyal Var. Seyal Gum

Abstract In this investigation, physicochemical properties of Acacia seyal(Talha) sample was studied [moisture content (10.79%), ash (1.1294%), nitrogen (0.15%), specific optical rotation (+46.1°), pH (4.5)]. Mineral contents of Ca and Mg in two samples (S1gum, S2 magnesium glucurnates and S2) has been analysizedby using Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS), the results were (Ca in sample S1 = 1934.4, Ca in sample S2 = 65.22, Mg in sample S1 = 19.86 and Mg in sample S2 = 1264.8).
