Android App for Doctor's Online Booking System for Emergency Cases. Case of Nandi County Hospitals

ABSTRACT.

Online Doctor’s booking appointment system in hospital today necessitate a competent administration when handling

 Patients, generating reports for cashier, patients detail which serves as a key factor for the flow of business transactions in Nandi County Hospitals.

The current appointment of doctors online leads to waste of time, misplacement of details, patient’s details and doctor’s records of reports and management of system has a lot of insecurity thus it may lead to loss of information or data of the patients.

This research project proposal is aimed at coming up with an application system that will enable patients to book doctors online based on the specialty, location price or other preferences.

The doctor will either confirm or deny the request made by the patients based on his/her schedule. In order to achieve this goal a through system study was done and investigation was carried out and data was collected and analyzed about the current system.

The concept of time wastage and insecurity of data has been solved, the method used to develop the system include water fall model approach, dataflow and finally the language used SQL server and HTML.
